MAPS – I have no sense of direction. These maps are of actual locations but they are more of an abstracted interpretation rather than cartographic representation.

ORGANICS/ABSTRACTS – I have a deep love of the ocean and a fascination with nature. Some of these are graphic while some are more gestural capturing the essence of the subject matter.

Current Project:

I am currently working on a few different things but the one I’ll be putting the most time into will be the map project. For the next I don’t know how long, I will be working on 10 map paintings! Wooo!

First up is Point Judith, Narragansett, Rhode Island. So far, the sketch is done, 6 color studies have been completed and I am currently working on the large acrylic painting.

Fenway will be next! Then 8 more after that!!! STAY TUNED!
